Authenticate: The electronic process of checking credentials (username and password) supplied by a User's Device and returning information to enable the device to use the network (IP address etc.). For the $SSID Wi-Fi network, authentication happens at first logon, each time the device reconnects to the network and/or after 48 hours of continuous connection.
Devices: Devices are things like laptops, smart phones or tablets that use the Wi-Fi service. Devices are used by Users.
Guests: Guests are visitors that may require Internet access temporarily. Guests are time limited and do not have access to their sponsor’s network or resources.

SOHO: An abbreviation for Small Office/Home Office. A term used to describe an
equipment’s expected usage environment.
SSID: An abbreviation for Service Set Identifier. Essentially, the name of a wireless network.
User Accounts: A username and password combination that allows up to 3 Devices to connect to the network.
Users: People who use the network. Users have Devices and Devices are associated with User Accounts. Users are allowed access to their company’s network and network resources.
